By  |

Heavy rain hit the Pikes Peak region Saturday, hammering the east part of town.

Residents saw the blue skies from the morning turn dark and green yards white as rain, wind and hail blew into the area.

A tornado touched down 20 miles of the Springs in the Hanover area, but no damage was reported.
