Bullets started flying as two cars sped down Chelton Road late Wednesday night.
No injuries were reported, but police say a nearby house was hit by some of the bullets.
Springs police say the incident happened at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday when a passenger in a black car started shooting at the driver of a white car as they both traveled southbound on Chelton. The driver in the white car crashed into a curb, ditched his vehicle and ran off. The black car kept going down Chelton. Officers have yet to locate anyone involved in the incident.
After investigating the scene, police determined the white car had been stolen during a burglary in the Rockrimmon area within the last few days.
