Stephanie Dickinson
A former member of the Ellicott D-22 Board of Education has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting teenagers. Stefanie Dickinson appeared in court Wednesday.
Additionally, Dickinson will have two trials. One will handle the sexual assault charges and another to deal with the charges stemming from her alleged sexting with a teenager.
In the sexual assault case, she is charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. In one of the counts, the victim is specified as between 15 and 18 years old.
KKTV 11 News previously reported that an affidavit against Dickinson indicates deputies interviewed two young men who say they had sex with a former Ellicott D-22 Board of Education member.
Dickinson resigned as treasurer for the school district after her arrest Sept. 18 on suspicion sexting the 14-year-old boy. The charges in that case are separate.
Investigators say a former high school student reported having sex with Dickinson in 2008, but no charges were filed in that case because the student was 18 at the time.
Dickinson’s next court appearance is scheduled for May. Her first trial is set to start in June.
