Lady Liberty is back where she belongs in Colorado Springs.

The dedication ceremony happened Monday afternoon.

A copy of the Statue of Liberty was given to the city in 1950. It sat on the front lawn of city hall for decades until it was removed during restoration work.

A new time capsule is in the base of the statue.
