A group of seriously ill children and their families had a chance to enjoy a Halloween carnival and spend some time away from the hospital Saturday.
The Starlight Children's Foundation hosted the event which took place at the Air Force Academy.
The event included a haunted house, costume contest, games and food.
Organizers say events like the carnival provides an opportunity for the children to spend some quality time with their families.
A group of Air Force Academy cadets also volunteered at the event.
