Stabbing Death Ruled A Homicide, Two Charged With First-Degree Murder

Police have ruled the death of a man who was found stabbed in a Colorado Springs home a homicide, and two people have been charged with first-degree murder.

David Stewart Harris, 30, and Devin William Durham, 20, both of Colorado Springs, are accused of killing 39-year-old Edward Daniel Futch in the early morning hours Wednesday.

It happened on Legacy Ridge View near South Circle Drive and Monterey Road in Colorado Springs.

Witnesses told 11 News they heard a woman yelling for help shortly before police arrived.

Futch's death is the 14th homicide in Colorado Springs this year.

Police have not released mug shots of Durham and Harris.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867). Tipsters may remain anonymous.
