One man was shot early Sunday morning; now Colorado Springs police are trying to figure out how and why.
Police were called to 30 E. Fontanero St. around 1 a.m. Sunday on a report that a man had a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, they found the man with a bullet wound to his chest. The man was taken to the hospital and his condition is not known. Police say there was no one else on the scene. Right now, they have no information on a possible shooter, or how the man was shot.
Police are working to obtain a search warrant to check the home that the man lives in.
