Springs Couple Robbed At Gunpoint In Own Home

By  |

A Springs couple is recovering after a frightening night: crooks robbing them at gunpoint--in their own home.

According to police, an armed man accompanied by two women broke into the couple's home near Fountain and Jet Wing just before 10:30 Thursday night. The suspects threatened the couple with the gun, then stole a cell phone and a work truck.

Police spotted the truck and chased after the suspects, but ultimately were forced to end the pursuit because the chase became too dangerous.

The truck was later found on the 300 block of North Circle, but the suspects were nowhere to be found.

The suspects have been described as followed:

A white man in his 20s dressed in all black.

A white woman with dark hair in her 20s, about 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds.

An Hispanic woman in her 20s with dark curly hair.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
