Many of you are calling our newsroom or contacting us on Facebook about the smoke that's blanketed much of Southern Colorado. There are two fires burning right now.
One is in Walsenburg, southwest of Pueblo and the other is in Jefferson County, west of Denver.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department says there are no fires in the Springs or in El Paso County. Do not call 911 if you see haze. Only call 911 if you see active flames.
