A small wildfire near Estes Park is fully contained as of early Saturday afternoon.
The Granite Gulch Fire started Friday east of the community. Firefighters got the three-acre fire contained less than 24 hours later.
Sister station KCNC says both firefighters on the ground and air resources were used to quickly contain the fire.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office says that most of the fire was on Forest Service land, with a small portion burning on provate land.
Estes Park was devastated last year during the flooding in September, and has spent most of the past nine months getting back on its feet. Fortunately, the Granite Gulch Fire never threatened any structures.
