Fort Carson has confirmed there was a small plane crash on Butts Army Airfield Wednesday afternoon.
Two crew members were on board and taken to the hospital. They are reported to be in good condition. We're told they are not Fort Carson soldiers.
The crew members were on a routine training mission out of Pueblo. The plane was a small civilian aircraft contracted by through the Air Force.
We're told the incident is under investigation. NTSB is leading the investigation.
