A small brush fire burning 3 miles west of Beulah in Pueblo County is now fully contained, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
Lightning started the fire Saturday afternoon. It burned about an acre of land that is considered part of the San Isabel National Forest.
Firefighters left the area around 10 p.m. Saturday and returned Sunday morning.
The Forest Service says the fire showed "minimal activity" Sunday morning, however, nine firefighters remained in the area.
Highway 165 was closed intermittently 12 miles north of Rye while fire crews responded.
