The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who they believe stole a vehicle and then used documents in that vehicle to commit identification theft.
The vehicle was stolen on September 30. The two suspects then used the victim’s credit cards at the Walmart at 6310 S. U.S. Highway 85/87 and the 7-Eleven at 5 Widefield Boulevard that day and the next.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office told 11 News that deputies found the stolen vehicle and thought they had a lead to track down the two suspects. That lead did not pan out and now the Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find these men.
If you have any information, you are encouraged to call Detective Chris Ward at (719) 520-7181.
