Sheriff's Office Investigates Attempted Kidnapping

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted kidnapping.

It happened Sunday afternoon in Peyton near Woodmen Hills Dr. and Velvet Antler Way.

A 19-year-old woman was riding her bike when a man was driving an SUV grabbed her and forced her inside. As he began to speed away the woman jumped from the SUV and ran to a home nearby.

We're told she does have minor injuries from escaping, but wasn't hurt otherwise.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Kyle Davis Curley Murphey,23. He is described as a white male wearing a red, black and white striped hoodie. He was driving a dark colored SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at 390-5555.
