At least three people were injured after police say a driver lost control of his vehicle and rolled it in a neighborhood west of I-25.

Police say the driver was trying to avoid a deer.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. at West Woodmen and Buckeye Drive in Colorado Springs. This is in the Rockrimmon area. West Woodmen was closed at Buckeye for several hours, but reopened as of 9:45 a.m.

Three of the four people inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital. At least one sustained serious injuries. One person walked away from the crash, but was later found by police. It's unknown if this person was also hurt.

Police believe speed and alcohol may be factors in the crash.
