Five people were taken to the hospital after a semi-truck and a car collided on westbound Highway 24 Wednesday morning.
The crash happened a little after 6 a.m. near Crystola, outside Woodland Park.
Woodland Park police tell 11 News that a Kia Soul and a semi-truck crashed while both heading westbound on the highway. Three people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, and two by Flight for Life.
The crash tied up traffic for more than 90 minutes, forcing westbound traffic to divert onto County Road 21. The highway reopened about 7:40 a.m.
At this time, there's no word on whether the injuries are life-threatening.
