A load of old cars spilled onto the roadway after a semi-truck rolled on the north end of Colorado Springs.
The driver was exiting northbound I-25 onto Interquest around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday when he rolled his vehicle on the exit ramp. He told troopers he thought he had hit ice.
There were no injuries, but the driver's load of junk cars fell off the semi and onto the shoulder after the rollover. The junk cars were on their way to be scrapped.
Crews spent much of the morning trying to right the semi and clear the junk cars from the ramp.
State Patrol is still investigating the cause of the rollover. Troopers have not found ice at this time, so they are currently looking at speed as a possible factor.
