All lanes of Fillmore are now open between Prospect and El Paso. They were closed for an hour earlier because of an accident involving a semi-truck.
Springs Police say the semi hit three telephone poles at the intersection of Prospect and Fillmore.
The driver told officers he didn't think he had enough room to make the turn onto westbound Fillmore St., so he cut thru the parking lot of the Diamond Shamrock.
As he was pulling onto Filmore the semi truck caught the overhead phone lines, causing them to snap.
No one was injured in the accident. The driver was cited for driving off of an approved truck route.
