Security Guard Attacked During Walmart Theft

Colorado Springs Police responded to the Walmart on Space Center Dr. in Colorado Springs Saturday afternoon after a woman attacked a security guard.

The security guard stated that a female placed several items in a plastic tub and then put that tub in her purse. She began to attack the security guard, scratching him and punching him, when he approached her.

She and another female started to walk out the front door when the security guard asked them to stop. The suspect grabbed her pepper spray from her purse and sprayed the security guard in the face.

The two females left the store in a red Toyota Echo with Colorado license plates.

The suspect who attacked the security guard is described as a black female in her 20's, 5'4", 115 pounds, with shoulder length hair, and was wearing black pants with a yellow top.

The second female is white, 5'6", 180 pounds and was wearing light colored clothing.

The security guard had minor injuries and didn't need any medical treatment. Officers checked the area, but were not able to find the women.
