A shooting suspect was found hiding out in a hotel and subsequently arrested, according to Pueblo police.
Police say 38-year-old Paul Sierra was located at a La Quinta Inn in Pueblo Monday. He had been wanted for allegedly shooting another man in the head early Sunday morning.
The incident happened at the Fairway Inn on 521 S. Pueblo Blvd. just after 2 a.m. Police said someone drove the 22-year-old victim to the hospital. According to a news release, the bullet did not go into the victim's brain and was surgically removed Sunday.
The victim reportedly was alert and able to talk to officers.
Along with Sierra, his 20-year-old brother Jesus was arrested Monday at the hotel on an outstanding warrant.
Authorities say they also seized $6,000 and numerous drugs during the arrest.
