The Salvation Army needs your help!
The Salvation Army says a donor who had pledged to donate 500 turkeys to The Salvation Army for their Christmas food bags has canceled. Now, they are short at least 350 turkeys, whole chickens or hams ahead of their Christmas food bag distribution on Saturday, December 21.
The Christmas food bags serve more than 450 families.
If The Salvation Army does not collect enough meat, they say they will have to withhold food from their regular weekly food distribution to compensate.
If you are able to help, bring a meat product to The Salvation Army at 908 Yuma Street in Colorado Springs between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
