At Least 50 Acres Burned In Saguache County Wildfire

A wildfire burning on a private ranch in Saguache County is currently "out of control," according to the County Sheriff's Office. Three nearby homes were evacuated.

The Sheriff's Office reports that the fire was originally reported as burning on a ranch at County Roads 66T and T, northwest of the Town of Crestone, around 10:40 a.m. Several fire departments are currently on the scene.

At last report, the fire had burned approximately 50 acres. The cause is still unknown.
