SWAT Situation Ends With Pepper Spray, Arrest

Colorado Springs police used pepper spray to arrest a man who was hiding in an attic of a Colorado Springs home.

Police say that 22-year-old James Hardy was wanted on domestic abuse charges.

Friday afternoon, police found Hardy at a home on University Drive near Academy and Airport in Colorado Springs.

Police and SWAT crews surrounded the house and used pepper spray to get Hardy to surrender. Police say he was hiding in the attic of the house.

Hardy was still in jail at 7 a.m. Saturday.
