Light to moderate snow showers continue this Wednesday morning with cold temperatures to start the day. Roads are *very* icy and snow packed throughout southeast Colorado... so please allow extra time for the morning drive. Throughout the midday and afternoon, we'll keep the chance of some light, fine snow showers, but expecting minor accumulations through the day. Snow looks to finally push out this evening/overnight and our warm up begins. Head over to the "Weather' tab for a full look at the forecast.
A sexually violent predator has moved into a Colorado Springs neighborhood.
Jimmie Lillie, who has been registered as a sex offender in the Springs since March 2012, recently moved to 408 Placid Road, near Airport and Printers Parkway.
Lillie, 55, has a lengthy rap sheet, including convictions of sexual assault on a child in 2005, two convictions of third-degree assault, two convictions of felony theft and one conviction of misdemeanor theft.
Lillie is one of 11 sexually violent predators registered with the Colorado Springs Police Department. CSPD says they take his presence in the community very seriously, and will work to ensure that he conducts himself in a lawful manner.
Anyone with questions can contact Sgt. Bill Dehart with the CSPD Sex Offender Unit at 444-7808 or Det. Rob Meredith at 444-7665.
