Snow and rain will continue to taper from north. Main roads should stay just wet overnight and through early Thursday. Secondary roads and any bridges and overpasses away from city warmth will be icy, so be careful. Locally dense fog will be an issue for the early morning too. Two people have been transported to the hospital by helicopter after being ejected in a rollover north of Walsenberg.
Colorado State Patrol says the vehicle was headed southbound when it rolled at mile marker 60 on I-25. It reportedly landed in the middle of the interstate, blocking traffic.
There were a total of five people inside the car, but the injuries to the other three are unknown. CSP says only two were ejected from the vehicle. At this time, it's unknown if their injuries are life-threatening, though CSP says they are serious.
A one-mile stretch of interstate between mile markers 59 and 60 was closed while crews worked to clear the scene, and to give the helicopter room to land. The road has been reopened as of 10:15 a.m.
