Locally heavy rain and snow will impact Southern Colorado through Friday afternoon and early evening. Heaviest snow will favor the mountains, Teller County, and El Paso County. This will lead to difficult travel conditions by Friday morning. Heavy snow will also occur in the higher terrain to the southwest of Pueblo. The storm will wind down later Friday evening. A rollover caused major delays Monday morning in northern Colorado Springs.
The rollover happened just before 7 a.m. on the exit ramp from Briargate Parkway to southbound I-25. State Patrol says the driver was trying to merge onto the interstate, but jumped the median and flipped her car. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash blocked the exit ramp from southbound I-25 and eastbound lanes of Briargate Parkway.
