A Colorado highway has reopened after a rock slide shut down a portion of it Thursday morning.

A Colorado highway has reopened after a rock slide shut down a portion of it Thursday morning.

According to CDOT, Highway 6 through Clear Creek Canyon was closed for a few hours while crews worked to clear the road after the rock slide. The lane closures ran between I-70 and Highway 119.

There were no injuries in the rock slide. Sister station KCNC says that one car got a flat tire from a small rock.

One of the rocks that fell was reportedly the size of a small car.

A geologist was called to the scene after the incident.
