A robbery suspect is behind bars after allegedly returning to the scene of the crime to buy cigarettes.

A scene from Taste of India, March 1, 2013.

Surveillance video caught the robbery as it unfolded. Three men were caught on camera walking into the combination restaurant/store around 8:20 p.m. Friday, March 1. At least two were armed with guns.

On the tape, Taste of India store manager Tajinder Dhillon can be seen with a gun to his back being forced to comply with crooks.

"They put the gun over here, under my head... I tried to turn around toward him and he said, 'turn around' then he told me to lay down on the ground," Dhillon told 11 News after the incident.

The men demanded money and cigarettes from the store owner. They were then able to escape the area before police arrived on scene.

Nearly two weeks later, one of the suspects went to the store to buy cigarettes. Court papers identify him as Jeromy Wagner.

Dhillon's son recognized him from the surveillance footage, carded him, and wrote down all of his information.

Tan Dhillon's quick thinking led to Wagner's arrest. Wagner told police who his accomplices were.

Police are now looking for Christopher Sawyer, Davis Andrew and Avery Hence. If you have any information, call police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

Taste of India is located on 4820 Flintridge Drive in Colorado Springs.
