Overnight a disturbance passes through parts of S Colorado... this will bring a push of moisture falling as rain in the Plains with a few late night/early morning showers possible in Pueblo. For the Palmer Divide, N & W El Paso Co. and Teller Co. it will fall as snow... bringing a few additional inches of accumulation in mainly between 1am and 6am, lingering into the mid morning. Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Springs convenience store early Saturday morning.
The incident happened just before 1:40 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on the 400 block of N. Murray.
The suspect reportedly threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money. He took off after getting cash.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 with a heavy build, weighing around 250 pounds. He left the area on foot.
