Locally heavy rain will remain possible overnight, with any showers and storms. Areas likely to see additional heavy rain will likely be east of I-25 and along HWY 50 from Canon City eastward. Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Springs convenience store early Saturday morning.
The incident happened just before 1:40 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on the 400 block of N. Murray.
The suspect reportedly threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money. He took off after getting cash.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 with a heavy build, weighing around 250 pounds. He left the area on foot.
