A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with an oncoming sedan Thursday night.
According to police, the rider was not wearing a helmet.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Nevada and East Cimarron near downtown Colorado Springs. Police say the rider was turning onto Cimarron as the sedan--which had the right of way--was approaching. The motorcycle hit the corner of the front driver's side of the sedan.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital. No one in the sedan was hurt.
