RECALL ALERT: Jennie-O Turkey Burgers

Jennie-O Turkey is recalling more than 54,000 pounds of raw turkey burgers because they may be contaminated with salmonella.

Here’s what to look for to know if the recall affects you: four pound boxes of “all natural turkey burgers with seasonings, lean white meat.” Each box contains 12 one-third pound individually wrapped burgers, with a use-by date of December 23, 2011. The burgers were sold at Sam’s Club stores, and can be returned for a refund.

Twelve people, including one person from Colorado, have tested positive for salmonella after eating the burgers.

They are actually pretty good. I see Carl Juniors are selling them now. Beef will stay in pop bellies for days.

@Kirk - People who watch their calorie intake. And there's some people who just don't like beef.

I purchased this product this week @ BJ's, and I can't find an expiration date anywhere. The only stamp is on the individual package as well as the box of 36310A ?
