Questions continue to surround a fire on the southwest side of Colorado Springs.
The fire, which broke out Sunday morning in the kitchen in one of the units at the Meadows at Cheyenne Mountain apartments, was put out quickly. But the circumstances around the young children inside--and the good Samaritan who saved them--are unknown.
All the Fire Department is saying at this time is that the children were saved by a neighbor. They are not addressing whether or not the kids were home alone. The neighbor has not been named either.
Our reporter on scene said the children looked between about 3 and 6 years old. Neither sustained any injuries.
There is also no word on what caused the fire at this time.
