Voters in Pueblo will decide whether or not they want a half-cent sales tax increase that would go toward public safety.

The county clerk confirmed Wednesday that the group Puebloans United for Public Safety gathered enough signatures to get the measure on the ballot in November.

It will need a simple majority in order to pass.

The money would go to police and fire departments.
