Roads are icy in spots that saw accumulating snow yesterday. Allow yourself plenty of extra time this morning and dress warmly, as wind chills are in the single digits and teens for many. A second disturbance will bring another round of snow showers to the Front Range this afternoon and early evening. While not as heavy as yesterday, some additional light accumulations over the higher terrain will be possible, including Teller and Northern El Paso Counties. Highs in the 30s and 40s will feel colder when factoring a blustery northwest wind. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Pueblo police are hoping surveillance pictures will help identify a pair of identity thefts suspects on the run in southern Colorado.
On Dec. 21, 2012, two purses were stolen from a car parked in the Pueblo Zoo parking lot. The victim says that the suspects entered the vehicle through the sliding rear window.
According to police, the suspects used credit cards stolen from the purses later that day at both TJ Maxx and Safeway. Surveillance footage captured a man and woman at both locations who police believe are connected to this crime.
The female suspect is thought to be 18-22 years old, about 5-foot-6 and thin with light brown hair. She was wearing a red shirt and jeans at both locations.
The male suspect is older than the woman, and is a Hispanic male with brown hair. He was sporting a mustache and goatee, and was seen wearing a green jacket with a baseball cap on Dec. 21.
Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP or visit pueblocrimestoppers.com.
