Areas of light snow will continue on and off across S Colorado this afternoon and evening, gradually winding down tonight. Additional amounts should be light. The biggest concern will be the very cold conditions we see tonight into Thursday morning. Temperatures will drop to the single digits to below zero. A Pueblo man was airlifted to Denver after being shot during an attempted carjacking Tuesday morning.
Pueblo police are currently looking for the suspect.
The incident happened in the area of 7th and Troy around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The victim was able to get away with his car during the carjacking attempt, but not before the suspect shot him once in the leg. The victim managed to drive to a safe place to call for help.
Police have not released any suspect information. They say they searched the area and spoke to potential witnesses, but have not found anyone who saw the crime occur.
