Police are looking for a man they believe stole two jars of donations to the Red Cross.

The jars were taken from the Loaf 'n Jug store at 420 Eagleridge in Pueblo late Thursday night.

Surveillance video shows the man stole one jar and left the store. An hour later, he returned and took a second jar. Store employees say both jars were nearly full.

Customers told 11 News they couldn't believe someone would stoop to blatantly taking from someone in need.

"It kind of breaks my heart a little bit that people would want to take money from people who need it," Kimberly Roberts said. "It seems kind of shocking that that would happen."

The suspect has been described as being a clean-shaven male in his 20s with a slim build and short dark hair.

If you have any information about who the suspect is, call Pueblo police at 553-2502, or Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP.
