Pueblo police arrested a man they say could be connected to a string of recent robberies.

Detectives tell us they believe Alfred Montano, 25, was involved in a home invasion and robbery on the 2000 block of Carlee Drive in Pueblo. That home invasion happened on December 28, 2012.

Friday, Montano was reported to be in the area of Fowler, Colo. Pueblo police detectives along with the Otero County Sheriff’s Office located Montano. An arrest warrant was obtained for Theft by Receiving, a class 3 felony.

Montano has been booked into Pueblo County Jail on a $250,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing; further charges may be filed in the near future.

Investigators say Montano is also a person of interest in several other robberies that have occurred in Pueblo recently. That part of the investigation is still ongoing.
