Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
A Pueblo man is in serious condition after he was thrown from his motorcycle Monday evening.
It happened along Business HWY 50, about four miles east of Pueblo. State troopers say Daniel McClure, 50, was traveling west when a Ford F-350 pickup turned in front of him. Troops say the driver Steven Fry, 36, turned in front of McClure. It is believed Fry was turning into the parking lot of Shorty’s Backyard Bar and Grill.
McClure was riding a motorcycle that hit the rear of the truck. His bike rolled before McClure was ejected ten feet. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. McClure is currently in serious condition at Parkview hospital.
Fry was arrested and booked at the Pueblo County Jail on several charges. State Patrol suspects alcohol was a contributing factor.
