Pueblo City Council is considering allowing the sale of recreational marijuana.
Monday evening city councilors heard the first reading of an ordinance that would regulate marijuana in city limits. Councilors gave initial approval, but will have another hearing before it officially passes.
The council will hear the ordinance again June 23rd. They will also take public opinion and have a final vote.
Recreational pot sales are already approved in Pueblo County.
