Power has been restored to customers in the east-side of Pueblo.
The cause for the outage, according to a spokesperson for Black Hills Energy, was a fire atop an electrical pole. There is no cause for the fire, officials say, but they are working to extinguish the fire and determine the cause.
The fire, and outage, started at a pole near the Airport Industrial Park.
Meanwhile, Black Hills Energy re-routed power to restore service for customers in the area.
Originally 2,600 customers were without power.
