Would-Be Robber Gets Away Empty Handed

Police said a would-be robber walked into a store and demanded money, but didn't get any before he took off.

It happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. Sunday at the Everyday Store located on the 1800 block of Circle Dr. in Colorado Springs.

The crook demanded cash and tried to open the cash register, but couldn't, according to police. He got away on foot.

Police said no weapon was shown during the incident and no one was hurt.

So far, police do not have a good description of the suspect. He is described as being white, 20 to 21-years-old and had a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light colored jacket, dark pants, dark shoes, dark hat and sunglasses.
