Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
According to multiple witnesses, a woman was assaulted and thrown in the back of a waiting pickup truck by two men.
Police were called to the 1100 block of West Colorado Avenue around 11:30 Saturday morning after receiving calls about the abduction. The truck was not located.
The suspects are both reportedly white men. The first has been described as being his late 50s or early 60s, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 and thin, with gray hair and a long, thick beard.
Witnesses described the second man as being between 40 and 50 years of age, 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, heavyset with thinning dark hair.
The victim is a 55-year-old woman, 5-foot-6 and thin with graying hair. She was wearing a purple or blue faded sweater with light-colored jeans at the time of the abduction.
The suspect vehicle is a small-sized 80s model Toyota or Chevy truck, gray or primer in color. It has a Colorado license plate starting with the numbers 861.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police at 444-7000, or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP to remain anonymous.
