Police: Man Dies Crossing Highway 50
A pedestrian was struck by a car while trying to cross Highway 50 in Pueblo Thursday night, closing the highway at Hudson Avenue while police conducted an investigation into the accident.

A pedestrian was struck by a car while trying to cross Highway 50 in Pueblo Thursday night, closing the highway at Hudson Avenue while police conducted an investigation into the accident.

The 48-year-old victim, whose name is being withheld, died shortly after being transported to the hospital. Police say he is from Pueblo.

Pueblo police say the accident occurred just before 8 p.m. The initial investigation determined the victim was hit by a vehicle driven by a 39-year-old woman, also of Pueblo.

The highway reopened early Friday morning.

That's my bro,that was hit by some.that lady that had to be speeding to kill some,most people watch the light while attemping to cross a intersection.where's the witnessess to say she was'nt or was speeding diead don't talk.

A car traveling 50MPH would send him 50 feet to the crosswalk dumb@$$ they all cross from those apartments to the big R and stay about 50-100 feet east of the crosswalk

This Guy was in a hurry to get across to the loaf N' jug or the liquor store to feed his buzz just like all the rest in that area. Probably baked on "medical" marijuana considering the area.
