Police are asking for the public's help to find a woman accused of stabbing her young niece.

The alleged attack happened on Maroon Mesa Drive in Colorado Springs. The area is near Vickers Dr. and Rangewood Dr.

Police said they responded to a disturbance call, and fund a young girl with a stab would. They suspect, Alkeesha Foster, had already left the home.

A family argument reportedly led to the alleged stabbing.

The girl was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Anyone with information about Foster is asked to call police at 444-7000.
