Police: Woman Had Meth In Her Belly Button

A woman accused in connection to a vehicle theft is now facing additional charges for allegedly hiding meth in her navel.

Springs police say an officer spotted a stolen vehicle on the 310 block of Murray Blvd. and pulled it over.

Two people, Michelle Rendon, 28, and Arturo Velasquez, 18, were arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft. Velasquez also faces traffic charges.

Rendon is also charged with Possession of a Schedule II drug, and Introduction of Contraband into a Detention Facility after police say they found meth in her belly button.
