Police: Suspects Spend Thousands At Target, Caught On Camera

Within 30 minutes of stealing a wallet from a customer at Panera Bread, police say the thieves were able to make thousands of dollars worth of purchases on the victim's cred it card.

Police believe the suspects responsible were caught on surveillance video.

The wallet theft happened on August 1 at the Panera Bread on 1845 Briargate Parkway in Colorado Springs. Police tell 11 News the purse was hanging on the back of the victim's chair when the wallet was stolen.

The suspects then used the victim's credit cards at the Target on 9670 Prominent Point, also in Colorado Springs.

According to police, two were caught on camera using the victim's credit cards within several minutes of each other. Each woman was accompanied by a different man. The suspects left the area afterward in an unknown make/model coupe or sedan.
