A local convenience store was robbed twice in two days, and police say the same suspect is likely to blame.
On Jan. 25, police say a man walked into a 7-Eleven located at 450 N. Murray Blvd. with a knife and demanded money. That incident took place in the early morning, around 1:40 a.m. The suspect got away on foot.
Two days later and around the same early morning hour, police say a man walked into the same 7-Eleven with a weapon and demanded money.
The suspect in both robberies has been described as a Hispanic man, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9, and weighing about 250-290 pounds. Police released a surveillance photo Wednesday.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Colorado Springs police at 444-7000.
