Police Searching For Suspects In Wells Fargo Robbery

Employees and customers at a Springs bank were going about their everyday business when two men stormed in yelling and demanding cash.

For a few frightening moments, those inside were forced to watch as the suspects climbed over the counter and ordered the tellers to give them cash.

Springs police swarmed the Wells Fargo on the 4000 block of North Academy after the call came in Saturday afternoon, but the suspects had already gotten away. Their getaway vehicle, a Chrysler 300, was later found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.

Police say one of the men was dressed all in black, while the other suspect was wearing a white hoodie and black pants. Both had stocking caps pulled over their heads at the the time of the robbery. No further suspect description is available at this time.
