Police are searching for two men allegedly involved in an assault late Thursday night.

Joseph Santiago and Matthew Naple, both 18, are considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Police say Santiago beat an acquaintance in an apartment parking lot in the area of North Academy and North Carefree, and also fired a gun at some point during the assault, though he didn't hit the victim. The victim suffered numerous non-life threatening injuries, primarily lacerations and contusions. He may have been accompanied by Naple at the time of the assault, or with Naple now.

Santiago has been described as an Hispanic male, medium complected, standing about 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for assault in the second degree, and already has an existing felony warrant for escape.

Naple is described as a white male with fair skin, about 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is also wanted for second-degree assault.
