A FLASH FLOOD WATCH remains in effect for all of southern Colorado throughout our evening and overnight on Tuesday. Storms will continue to be an issue, capable of producing heavy rain with very slow movement. Storms look to mainly favor north and east of areas like Colorado Springs and the Waldo Canyon area, but storms cannot be ruled out still in this area. The 11 Breaking Weather team will be monitoring conditions closely. This Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through 6pm Wednesday, where another day of thunderstorms is possible. Authorities in Pueblo are hoping surveillance footage will help locate a suspect who robbed a neighborhood restaurant.
It happened Jan. 17 at 9:40 p.m. at Adolfo's Mexican Food on 2450 Santa Fe Dr.
Police say a man with a gun approached the counter and demanded money from the register. He got away with an unknown amount of cash. No one was injured.
Police investigated to see if this robbery was linked to robberies earlier in the day. The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the most recent robbery, said it was not the same suspect.
The suspect in the Rodolfo’s Mexican Grill robbery is described as 6 feet tall. He was wearing all black and a mask.
